Trip to American Philatelic Society
Meet at Galleria Mall

*** Date is tentative and destination may change. ***

2025 trip:

Interested members will meet at the Galleria Mall at 10am and then car pool to the American Philatelic Society in Bellefonte, PA. The group will also have a meal together at a local Bellefonte restaurant. Guests are welcome to participate in this field trip.

Johnstown Stamp Show
Galleria Mall, 500 Galleria Drive, Johnstown, PA

*** TENTATIVE ***

Our annual stamp show will be held at the Galleria Mall again this year. Our space at the mall will be #116 on the directory on the lower level catty-cornered from the lower level Auntie Anne's Pretzels. Admission and parking are free. Several stamp dealers will be at the show. There will be door prizes (no cost for a chance to win,) along with a special grand prize drawing limited to kids under age 18. In addition, there will be free stamps available for all kids.

Regular Meeting, One-Page Exhibit Competition

Members are welcome to enter a one-page exhibit. The winner, as judged by the club, will have his or her dues waived for 2027.

Regular Meeting, Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas Party will be held at this meeting. Note that this is the 2nd Monday in December, not the 4th.

General Annoucement

Our club generally meets the 4th Monday of the month, though there are exceptions. See the schedule above. We are always welcome to guests at our meetings. But also, in any case, please consider becoming a member. Our annual dues are only $10. And if you attend the Annual Dinner, you get that money back! We are especially open to helping children become interested in stamp collecting. We always have lots of free stamps available for kids.

General Announcement

It is with profoud sadness that we announce the passing of Club Member extraordinaire, Charles D. Holtzman, Jr., on October 31, 2025. Charles was Club Treasurer, newsletter editor, Show Committee chairman, Program Committee member, APS Club liaison, ATA Club liason, stamp dealer liaison, circuit book coordinator, show greeter, 50/50 manager, storage location (at his home) for club property, and more. If the Club needed it, Charles got it done. In addtion, he was great guy, friendly and kind. He will missed beyond words.
